For 2026, Gaastra has further developed the Spark with a redesigned leading edge and an optimised bridle system. These improvements provide quicker, more precise turning, an increased usable wind range, and improved control in changing wind conditions.
The leading edge and struts feature ForceTec Dacron, combining low weight with excellent stiffness and durability. This strong frame construction helps the kite maintain its shape under load and delivers more direct steering response.
The canopy is made from VoltNova Triple Ripstop by Teijin, while the trailing edge is reinforced with VoltNova+ Double Ripstop. These high-quality materials help reduce unwanted stretching, improve durability, and maintain the kite's shape and responsiveness over time.
