The Greenland whale is considered the oldest mammal. They are thought to be up to 150-200 years old. Greenland whales with harpoon tips are trapped in it from the late 1800s. So next time you get a splinter in your foot, think of the Greenland whale and be glad it won't be sitting there for the next 100 years.
The motif on the sweatshirt is embroidered. The sewing thread that is used makes the motifs steadfast, and they will still appear sharp after countless adventures, and tours of the washing machine. Don't forget to wash your shirt inside out. The cotton fibers will contract in the washing machine, so you can advantageously stretch or iron the sweater around the embroidery if you want the motif completely flat again after washing.
