Intuitive Handling and Predictable Control
The Gaastra Spark 2026 feels natural from the very first meters. The kite responds quickly to steering input while remaining stable and composed in the wind window.
Improved depower gives you more control when the wind increases or becomes gusty, allowing you to regulate power more precisely throughout your session. At the same time, the Spark 2026 offers improved upwind efficiency, helping you gain ground with less effort and spend more time riding.
ForceTec Dacron for Increased Stability and Precision
The leading edge and struts of the Gaastra Spark 2026 are constructed with ForceTec Dacron. This material combines high stiffness, low weight and durability to help the kite maintain its shape under load.
The stiffer frame provides a more direct steering response and helps the kite remain stable in changing and gusty wind conditions.
The canopy is made from VoltNova Triple Ripstop by Teijin, combining low weight with durability while reducing unwanted stretch. This improves load distribution throughout the canopy and helps maintain consistent performance over time.
The trailing edge is reinforced with VoltNova+ Double Ripstop for additional stiffness and durability.
Redesigned Leading Edge and Optimized Bridle System
For 2026, Gaastra has redesigned the leading edge of the Spark to deliver sharper and more precise turning. The updated shape also contributes to improved control and efficiency across a wider wind range.
The optimized pulley bridle system provides more direct control and smooth power delivery in different conditions. More swept wingtips help the kite turn quickly and smoothly without making it feel nervous or difficult to control.
