The story
The war captain had always been a particularly brave, if rather inept, cliffhanger. Therefore, he had never received the recognition he had dreamed of in this discipline, where he was known to fly like a flatfish and fall like a fin whale. His luck was to change, however, when a sadistic marketing executive from an energy drink company decided that finishing the jump with a belly-slap gave bonus points. Participating in such a contest would require foolhardiness and a ridiculously high pain threshold, both skills the war captain possessed. With the jump "quadruple somersault with half a screw and a flat pancake", the war captain immortalized himself and took a crushing victory, which earned him a nice trophy, a week in the hospital and a lifelong addiction to energy drinks.
